Warren Dean completed his Bankers Diploma whilst working at First National Bank where he became a Senior Consultant providing various services to high net worth clients which included Estate, Tax, Financial and Retirement Planning.
In the early 90’s, Warren joined Old Mutual and successfully established “Corporate Executive Services” in the Employee Benefit sector.
Following his success in the employee benefit arena, Warren was recruited by Sanlam to head up the Marketing and Broking division for Sanlam Health. Warren continued his involvement in the healthcare sector when he joined Glenrand MIB in 1994. His focus at Glenrand MIB was to specialise in the risk management of Human Capital.
In 2003, Warren left Glenrand MIB to start his own Company which is now known as The Power of 2 in 2008. The Company initially focused on the development of web based IT Solutions for the Healthcare Industry. Whilst marketing these products, a number of Clients requested assistance with the management of their existing Employee Benefit programmes which led to the development of a customized Consulting Model to cater for the needs of Small to Medium size businesses.
