Eliz heads up the Retirement Fund Consulting services offered by The Power of 2.
She understands the challenges faced by the “Sandwich Generation”.
The above term generally refers to individuals who have children at school or university, but also parents who could not make provision for retirement and therefore it remains a balancing act to ensure you make provision for your own retirement whilst supporting your family.
Eliz’s daughter Robyn, recently completed her BA Degree in Psychology, followed by a Post Graduate Teachers Diploma. With Robyn starting her first job, Eliz has gained new insight into the financial challenges faced by young working adults and how proper Financial Advice is crucial to help them navigate and plan their financial future.
Eliz keeps fit by taking Skye (her German Shepherd) for short walks and runs. Her ultimate relax is reading a good fictional book whilst listing to music.

Warren Dean
Principal Consultant
Warren started his career in Financial Services with First National Bank. During his career that spans more than 4 decades, he worked for some of the largest Insurers and Medical Aid providers in South Africa.
On a weekend you will often find Warren on either the Mountain Bike trails around Durbanville or on his KTM Motorcycle exploring small towns around the Western Cape. His passion for anything that is mechanically driven has made him the favourite “oupa” for his two grandsons.
Warren has two sons and one daughter and loves to spend any free time with his children and their families. Warren’s youngest son recently joined the PO2 healthcare team and Brendon is currently completing his apprenticeship to qualify as a financial advisor.

Melissa Fourie
Employee Benefit Analyst
I remember saying to my family that I want to retire at the age of 40, straight after high school. Little did I know that this would entail having a financial-and-retirement plan and to not just have a dream.
My journey with PO2 started in the winter of 2017 as an Employee Benefit Assistant. I am currently an Employee Benefit Analyst and grateful for the growth and leadership we get to experience. During my journey at PO2 I have obtained my RE5 and Wealth Management qualifications. Being able to work in the financial services industry is challenging but also very rewarding. To have the knowledge and expertise to assist and guide employers and employees though their employee benefits journey is a privilege.
My love for my daughter, family and books are great. I am creative, neat, and I like to surround myself with cheerful quotes and personalized décor both at the office and at home. I am also very brave and don’t mind catching the occasional spider or two. My favorite word is “Happy Days” and If I could I would be married to a Toyota Hillux Legend 50 2022.

Brendon Dean
Apprentice Consultant
Brendon’s career started in Retail where he gained valuable experience of more than 10 years in growing businesses from small companies into large national entities. Being in retail, Brendon often managed teams of up to 130+ employees across a number of different departments. In March 2022, Brendon decided on a career change and joined the PO2 Team where he has been working hard to expand his knowledge on Financial Services.
Brendon loves spending time with his Wife and Pets and enjoys the outdoors. He enjoys taking on any DIY projects and is not afraid to get his hand dirty.
Brendon has a passion for High-end Audio, Great Music and is an Undercover Nerd for anything relating to Computer’s or Electronics'.

Carla Chisholm
Employee Benefit Analyst
Carla works in the Group Risk Benefits and Retirement Fund Consulting side of the business as an Employee Benefits Analyst and Administrator.
Carla completed her BA in Communication Science in 2009 whilst working full time after matriculating. Her Industry experiences range from Education, Retail, Farming (Wine) and Aviation, and includes 11+ consecutive years in the Financial Services Industry.
Carla enjoys socialising with friends and family in her spare time. She has an avid love for gardening, creative projects, animals and the ocean/snorkelling.

Chantelle Du Toit
Healthcare Assistant
Chantelle started her career in the financial services industry in 2015 when she joined a firm of attorneys. After gaining industry related knowledge she was eager to learn more and moved to an Insurance Broker where she started as a call centre agent.
Chantelle’s willingness to learn contributed to her becoming a Commercial Insurance Client Service Consultant in a relatively short period of time. She was responsible for the Personal Lines Insurance book; new business, underwriting and amendments. In 2019, Chantelle joined The Power of 2 team and has proven her versatility by being the only administrator who supports both the Employee Benefits and Healthcare Teams.
Chantelle is the proud mother of a one year old. Caffeine helps her cope with little sleep but she would not trade the experience to watch her beautiful, smart, funny and eager little boy growing, for anything in the world!

Administrative Assistant
I joined the PO2 team in July 2024 and have enjoyed the diversity of queries and tasks in the EB space.
My experience over the past 25 years have been mostly in the Agriculture and Banking/Financial sectors, where I could live out my love for nature and numbers.
We are a family of four with my daughter Lucia, who enjoys all things drama and music and keep me on my toes. My husband, Ludwig and our fluff bundle, Rosie completes the family.
I love gardening, arts and crafts and DIY projects around the house.
I believe that the small things matter and even the smallest insignificant job needs to be done with passion and not to compromise on quality of work.

Annamarie van Zweel
Administrative Assistant
I joined the PO2 team in May 2024 as an administrative assistant, bringing with me over 20 years of experience in the medical insurance industry. I believe the move to PO2 will expand my knowledge in the broader employee benefits space and I am excited to support both the medical aid and employee benefits teams.
My personal motto is to never give up, and I live by the phrase 'every morning, stand up and say, "today the sun will shine again"'.
Outside of work, I'm a proud mom of two almost-grown sons, and I adore spending time with my feathered daughter, Fiona the macaw, who's like a part of the family.
On weekends, you can find me knitting or baking. I'm thrilled to be a part of the PO2 team and look forward to connecting with you!
